The WICKED 2022 is the Free-Race sail with 2-camber from S2Maui. A sail that impresses with its high performance derived directly from the Race VENOM sail, but in a more accessible version.
For 2021, we focused on increasing stability and range through fine-tuning the curve of the Mast and the pressure of the cambers. An update of the panel layout optimizes with the exclusive Technora Spacelight ™ super light and super strong material from S2Maui in the upper Leech and the new Carbon Spacelight ™ in the Clew reduce weight where it's most important for an instant response and a more reactive Leech. The high-performance mono-film in the central sail body provides a "crisp" and stable feel.
Thanks to the SpaceLight™ construction, the WICKED is one of the lightest Freerace sails in production. The use of 7 carbon and fiberglass battens like the VENOM, create an incredibly smooth, light, stable, and efficient Freerace sail with incredible top speed. The drive and soft overall tension ensure effortless camber rotation, excellent control, and a feeling of lightness.
