HORNET combines elements from both the V-FR Foil Race and the RAF Banshee for better performance in wind-foil. The HORNET features a High-aspect outline and a low layout of the foot area derived from the V-FR Foil Race which, combined with a 6-batten RAF structure and a tighter twist profile of the Leech, makes this sail specific for the Foil.
Ultralight Technora ™ Spacelight ™ is used in the twist area of the Leech, and the new Carbon WX Spacelight ™ with low elasticity in the Clew for an incredibly stable and light sail structure! Powerful shape and high-efficiency tension and twist of the Leech create rapid accelerations, lifting you immediately onto the foil. A perfect balance and a more advanced draft position offer exceptional stability and glide during the "flight"
