The Aeron North Base is a Mast foot with a universal Pin system. It uses the new Tendon Diabolo which offers high quality and durability, eliminating your worst nightmare in the water, breakage. Aeron, following the breakages and quality issues of commonly used black tendons, collaborated with material suppliers to create a superior and more stable material.
Until now, the industry standard was a cast polyurethane material. Now, AERON has created a new standard with an injectable polyurethane that has proven effective during over 12 months of testing.
The nature of this material implies that tendons of superior durability and quality can only be injected in transparent or opaque form to ensure maximum strength and durability.
It also offers greater suspension to absorb water movements
The low profile and wide base plate evenly distribute the sail load on the deck of the Board, while the padded layer absorbs shocks and protects the Board.
