The Hookipa Quad is the Board most high-performing wave of the range, designed for extreme conditions, from the most challenging days in Maui to the powerful and stormy waves of Europe. It is intended for riders who desire maximum control when the wave is fast and the wind is strong.
The Hookipa Quad features a renewed and more progressive shape, with a new larger size of 106 liters added to make the Hookipa's performance accessible to more riders and in different conditions. It offers the best performance in side-shore and down-the-line waves, where speed, grip, and control are crucial in decisive turns. It performs surprisingly well even in side-onshore conditions, when the water is choppier and the wind less clean.
The design of the rails has been optimized to ensure smooth drive in bottom turns even with rough seas, and a clean release in top turns without the Board feeling "sticky." This year the Tail has been narrowed, the rocker line and the shape of the Bottom have been perfected to increase control and precision, allowing you to push more while maintaining stability.
Quad fin control:
The four Fins configuration offers quick acceleration and great grip on the wave surface. Drive and confidence when you push more during waveriding.
Refined rocker
The updated rocker balances speed. Stay focused when the wave becomes faster and the water rougher.
Narrower tail
A narrower tail increases grip and precision in critical sections. You can set the rail earlier and maintain a tighter line in the steepest part of the wave.
Optimized rail design
The rails are shaped for secure drive through chop and clean release at the top of the wave. Gain control in entry and freedom at the top of the wave.
Updated Bottom
