Entirely custom-made construction with a mix of the highest quality materials and a unique production method. Our builder creates his own carbon prepreg, a cornerstone of the entire process, creating a personalized and customized carbon production for the Hatropina boompoles, with the main goal of producing the best stiffness-to-weight ratio. Each boompole is individually built using unique methods and a technologically advanced process; the final result is lightness, stiffness, ergonomics, and geometry. The 24.5mm diameter boompole is incredibly lightweight, yet super rigid, and surprises with incredible flex and drive. Assembled with ample preload for zero play. Safe, rigid, and stable even at full extension.

The boma features two grades of this high-quality EVA, in a double-density design: high density along the entire outer perimeter of the boma and the trapezoidal line area, and medium density for the remaining inner part. All sections are mitered and glued with an orientation such that the seams are not stressed by manual traction.

GEOMETRY

Both the main body and the terminal are custom-built to achieve the correct weight distribution for perfect balance between the front and rear hands. Furthermore, each individual arm undergoes a final tensile test to ensure that the actual stiffness is true to specifications. Note that the weight distribution is towards the front; where the connection and distribution of energy/power transmitted from the board through the mast occurs. The lightweight rear section allows the rig to move freely and effortlessly during maneuvers. This is in direct opposition to the usual constructions of other brands which, to provide "added stiffness," use larger and heavier rear sections.
