The Global is the ideal solution for a wide range of wave conditions, with particular attention to side and onshore wind sessions. It is designed to plane early, quickly increase speed, and remain easy to handle even when conditions are not perfect.
The Global is available in thruster configuration. This configuration enhances upwind drive with side and onshore wind and offers predictable control in turns. The rocker line is optimized for early planing and rapid acceleration, maintaining speed in the more challenging sections.
Compared to the Hookipa Quad, the Global has a greater width at the bow and at Tail. This increased width enhances stability and support in planing, making the Board more forgiving. The V Bottom helps the Board transition from edge to edge and keeps turns smooth, allowing you to make tight and always controlled turns. The edge shape is optimized for early release in planing and acceleration, while maintaining the grip and control necessary to surf confidently.
Fins thruster configuration
The thruster configuration adds drive and stability, especially with side and onshore wind. Achieve better upwind performance and more predictable control in turns.
Early planing rocker
The rocker is optimized for fast planing and quick acceleration. Start earlier and maintain speed even in sections with weak wind.
V control of the Bottom
The V shape helps the Board transition from edge to edge with less effort. Achieve smoother and tighter turns, maintaining stability at high speeds.
Wider nose and tail
The increased width of the nose and tail enhances stability and support in planing. You will feel more balanced and comfortable when the water is choppy or the wind is gusty.
