The S2Maui HORNET 22 is the choice for performance conscious wind-foil riders who prefer a lighter weight sail without a cam. The HORNET 22 combines both elements of the V-FR Foil Race and the RAF Banshee for improved wind-foil performance. The HORNET has a High-aspect outline and a low layout of the foot area derived from the V-FR Foil Race which in combination to a 6 batten RAF structure and tighter torsion leech profile make this sail specific for Foil.

Ultralight Technora ™ Spacelight ™ is used in the torsion area of ​​the leech, and the new Carbon WX Spacelight ™ at low elasticity in the clew for an incredibly stable and light sail structure! Powerful shape and high efficiency leech tension and twist creates quick accelerations lifting you off the foil immediately. A perfect balance and a more advanced draft position offer exceptional stability and planing during the "flight"

Micah Buzianis: The new Hornet was born from the great work done on the V- FR, all adapted on a lighter and more intuitive sail. Last year, we focused significantly on the development of our Eagle-FR Competition Foil-Race sails and the 2022 HORNET borrows elements from that Work. Further updates include a revised, smoother panel layout and a twist pattern with reduced weight in the head and top of the leech. Due to popular demand, a 5.2 size has been added for 2022. We are thrilled with this new wing!
