What is he talking about? FOIL? The exciting new 2021 HORNET has been designed specifically for the performance-oriented Foil-riders who prefer a lighter sail without a cam. HORNET combines both elements of the V-FR Foil Race and the RAF Banshee for improved wind-foil performance. The HORNET has a High-aspect outline and a low layout of the foot area derived from the V-FR Foil Race which in combination to a 6 batten RAF structure and tighter torsion leech profile make this sail specific for Foil.
Ultralight Technora ™ Spacelight ™ is used in the torsion area of the leech, and the new Carbon WX Spacelight ™ at low elasticity in the clew for an incredibly stable and light sail structure! Powerful shape and high efficiency leech tension and twist creates quick accelerations lifting you off the foil immediately. A perfect balance and a more advanced draft position offer exceptional stability and planing during the "flight"
